Charcoal Face Mask

Detox your skin with our purifying and cleansing face/body mask, whilst taking a moment to care for just YOU.

Combining the magical properties of both kaolin clay and charcoal, our mask works on drawing out impurities such as dirt, oils and and bacteria that can aggravate your skin, helping to prevent breakouts and promote balance. This blend gently exfoliates your skin, leaving you feeling soft and rejuvinated. With soothing Aloe Vera for added skin loving goodness, our mask is a beautiful addition to your skin care ritual. Leaving you feeling clean and fresh as a daisy, with your skin as a blank canvas ready to absorb the beautiful healing qualities of your next product.

𝐇 𝐎 𝐖 𝐓 𝐎 𝐔 𝐒 𝐄 :
Mix a spoonful of your Charcoal Face Mask powder with either water, green tea, aloe vera juice, or other liquid of your choice until a thin paste-like consistency is reached (note: best not to use metal utensils to mix. Try using wood, plastic or ceramics)

Apply mask to freshly washed face, avoiding eyes and mouth. Can be applied further down the neck, back or other affected areas.

Leave on mask until dry. Wash off with warm water and cleanser and follow with serums and moisturiser of your choice.
(Avoid leaving mask on for too long as this can be very drying for your skin. If you already have dry skin, try removing mask before it is completely dried out.

For regular and balanced use, mask is recommended to be used once per week.

Often when we think 'self care' we think baths, candles and face masks. Whilst some may say these are superficial self care practises, we disagree. It takes a certain level of grace and love for your face to want to nurture it, and here at Made By Mars, we celebrate any kind of self love! So let's enrich this moment with yourself with even just a little more LOVE!

Ground yourself in this moment. Our minds can be so busy whilst looking in the mirror, thoughts and judgements of ourselves forming the longer we look. If you're inclined to feel this way, let's take a minute to re-centre, get out of our mind and cultivate a grounded energy of love and acceptance.

Whilst applying your mask, guide your attention to your breath. Inhale deeply into your belly, and exhale softly through your nose. Notice when this focus is interrupted by an unkind thought, exhale the thought and breathe in a cleansing breath.
Simply noticing and interrupting the thought can help to reprogram the mind for more awareness and slowly paving over old neural pathways and building new ones with more capacity for positive self talk.
